All it takes is a few mouse clicks to infect
your computer and encrypt all your files
your computer and encrypt all your files
A few clicks on an email is enough to infect your computer with ransomware.
In this video we see a victim inadvertently letting loose ransomware on their computer with just a few clicks on an email. And we see SentinelOne killing and quarantining that threat immediately, before it can do any harm.
Then we rerun the threat, but this time with SentinelOne set to detect the threat, but not take any action (just so you can see what happens).
Not surprisingly all the victim's files are encrypted and turned into gobledegook.
We then see the guys in my Security Operations Centre analysing the attack and performing a "Rollback and Remediate" to completely remove the ransomware, and put the files back into their original unencrypted state.
Is your anti virus capable of preventing a ransomware attack?
And if an attack did get through, do you have a team of security experts on hand, ready and waiting to deal with the threat for you, probably before you have even realised you have been attacked.
I bet your current anti virus doesn’t do that.
Talk to me about getting protected with SentinelOne, and having your own team of Security Experts “watching your back” for you.
SentinelOne costs £16 per month including VAT per machine (PC or Mac).
